Clear or invisible braces are a very popular cosmetic dentistry. Dr Mughal has had special training in using a variety of different techniques to straighten teeth including invisible braces such as Invisalign and Clearstep. Other Techniques include the Inman Aligner, 6 month smile braces (fixed tooth coloured braces for front teeth), and the Damon system.
With these techniques it is possible to straighten crooked and misaligned teeth, and close small gaps between teeth, to achieve a perfectly aligned smile.
Invisible Braces
Invisalign and Clearstep use a series of clear plastic removable aligners that are specially moulded to fit the misaligned teeth. The virtually invisible aligners are changed every 2 weeks and gradually reposition the teeth. Treatment times can vary from 6 months to 2 years.
Inman Aligners
The revolutionary Inman Aligner is a simple removable aligner which is used to straighten front teeth. The advantage of the Inman Aligner is the speed of tooth movement; treatment can be complete in as little as 6-8 weeks.
6 Month Smiles
this technique employs the latest technology and techniques to move the front teeth quickly and safely using fixed nickel titanium wires which are bonded to the front teeth. Tooth coloured braces and wires are used which are barely visible compared to traditional metal braces.
Damon System
Damon braces are fast fixed braces using low friction mechanics which result in quicker treatment times but lighter forces and more comfortable treatment. By using these latest self ligating braces you experience less visits to the dental practice and quicker treatment times.
