Dr Roseann Shanks B.D.S BSc
Dr Shanks holds degrees in both Dentistry and Biochemistry. Early in her career, she was a House Officer at Guys Hospital London, and a Commissioned Officer in the Territorial Army Medical Reserve. She has subsequently gained wide experience
in general practice both as an associate and, since 1997, as the principal of De Parys Dental Care. She has a particular interest in restorative work and completed the Dr Paul Tipton post-graduate Manchester and London courses in Cosmetic and Restorative
Dentistry in 2003 and 2011 respectively.
Dr Shakir Mughal B.D.S (hons)
Dr Mughal has completed advanced dental training at Harley Street and the prestigious Pankey Institute in Miami. He is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a firm believer in engaging patients in the promotion of their
own oral health and achieving that all important smile. He is passionate about enhancing your smile with veneers, crowns, bridges, invisible braces and tooth whitening procedures all of which we offer at De Parys Dental Care.
Dr Hema Mistry BDS MFDS RCPS PG Den Sed
Dr Mistry graduated from Guys Hospital in 1996 and has since specialised in the care of nervous patients. Her previous appointments include an appointment as an Oral Surgeon and a post at Liverpool Dental School. More recently she has been
providing high quality private treatment at the Dental Clinic in Bedford. She and Suzanne Ellis are delighted to continue their partnership at 5 De Parys Dental Care.
Dr Fadi Barrak BDS FDS RCS Eng MBBS DipImpDent
Dr Barrak, the founder of Visiting Specialist Services is the practice’s implant consultant. He is a registered specialist in Oral Surgery and is a Fellow of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons England. He is a graduate of Bristol
University in Dentistry and of Imperial College in Medicine. He is a mentor for the Association of Dental Implantology, the International Team for Implantology and Salford University.
